Cuong Vu invites Even Helte Hermansen & Gard Nilssen

USA, Norway

Cuong Vu – trumpet
Even Helte Hermansen - guitar
Gard Nilssen - drums

The Vietnamese-American trumpeter Cuong Vu, who can also be heard in Saalfelden in his duo with Ted Poor, has invited two-thirds of "Bushman's Revenge" for his "Mountain Tracks" concert in the Kolling-forest. With the 40-year-old guitarist Even Helte Hermansen, also known from the group Shining and for his work with Mathias Eick, or in Solveig Slettahjell's Slow Motion Orchestra, and our "Artist in Residence", the Norwegian drummer Gard Nilssen, Cuong Vu will fill the forest clearing with his “abstract soundscapes”.

In case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the Fuchs bookbindery.

Forest Concert in the forest "Kollingwald"
The concert takes place in the Kollingwald Saalfelden (780 m). The starting point for the easy hike to the concert venue is the Kollingwald car park. To find the car park, follow the Kollingwald road coming from Saalfelden town centre, pass the Nordic Centre until you reach the crossing of the road (left to Bsuch / right to Breitenbergham). The car park is located directly at this junction. From there, a path leads through the forest to the concert venue, which is signposted starting from the car park. The walking time is approx. 5-10 minutes.
