For us, sustainability is shaped by many concrete decisions made throughout the festival. That’s why we are continuously implementing measures in the areas of mobility, resource conservation, regional sourcing, and social responsibility. We’re delighted to have you join us on this journey.

Free public transport to and from the festival!

Visitors of the Jazzfestival Saalfelden can use the bus route 620 from Hinterthal to Saalfelden, the bus route 260 from Brandlhof to Maishofen Lahntal, the bus route 690 from Leogang Griessen to Saalfelden and the city bus routes 60, 61 and 62 to and from the festival free of charge from 20 August to 23 August 2026. All timetable information can be found in the Salzburg Transport route planner or directly in the Salzburg Transport app!

Our reusable cups!

By using our returnable cups with deposit system (€ 2,-), you
will avoid additional waste such as PET bottles.

In general, care is taken to ensure that there is no waste from
beverage packaging.

Please take back what is yours!

Anything you bring with you is your property and does not belong on the meadow, the street, the concert hall or the forest.

Please help to keep our environment and the festival site clean!

Drinking Water Stations

Refill your water bottle for free at the three marked drinking water stations. You’ll find them at the Saalfelden Tourist Office and at the two public drinking fountains in Saalfelden.

The Jazzfestival Saalfelden is not only a cultural highlight, but also an important economic driver for the region. A recent economic impact analysis by the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce provides, for the first time, concrete figures on the festival’s economic significance.
