Camping: Directly at the lake

In addition to the campsites in Saalfelden and Leogang, visitors to the Jazzfestival have the exclusive opportunity to camp directly at Lake Ritzensee during the festival days!

TIME PERIOD

20.08. - 25.08.2025

Camping is only allowed on these days. The latest departure date is Monday, August 25, 2025.

THE CAMPING PITCH AREA

This campsite is located right by Lake Ritzensee, set against a stunning mountain backdrop. It is not possible to dispose of black or grey water at this parking area. Sanitary facilities are available on site!

Please note that this is a parking pitch which does not offer the full range of facilities of a typical campsite.

It’s only a 10-minute walk to the town center. You can also take the city bus line 61 from the “Ritzensee” stop to the “Am Postplatz” stop. All timetable information is available in the "Salzburg Transport route planner" or directly in the "Salzburg Verkehr App"!

 

Starting from 2025, you can already book your parking spot in advance. In addition to approximately 100 parking spaces (without electricity), there is also a limited number of motorhome pitches (with electricity connections).

Advance booking is recommended.

 

Guests staying at the campsite will receive the Guest Mobility Ticket.
