This event has already taken place.Austria, USA, Belgium
Pat Thomas - piano, electronics
John Mc Cowen - contrabass clarinet
Farida Amadou - electric bass
Luke Stewart - double bass
Lukas Koenig - drums, marimba, electronics
The award-winning musician from Vienna has regularly ruled in Saalfelden for the last few years. "Primarily a drummer", Lukas König raps and sometimes plays synth-bass and even trumpet. A creative natural phenomenon between power in the beat, free jazz in spirit and FX in the pedals. The experiences that the 35-year-old gathered alongside such different musicians as Bilderbuch, David Murray, Die Strottern or Moor Mother, internationally from Dublin via Swaziland to Mexico culminate in full force – and with a host of exciting fellow musicians – at the opening concert in Saalfelden.
