At Pavillon
This event has already taken place.Austria
Mwita Mataro - vocals, guitar
Paul Majdzadeh-Ameli - drums
Bernhard Melchart - guitar
Luí Matias dos Santos - bass
Influenced by bands like Kings Of Leon and Phoenix, the Arctic Monkeys or Tokio Hotel, the Viennese band around lead singer Mwita Mataro creates their own brand of energetically inspiring indie rock. Because Indie Rock is most often white, Mataro sees it as his "mission to motivate black people to also make rock and to create structures in which this is possible." A mission that he is also pursuing with his upcoming documentary film AUSTROSCHWARZ. The band's new album is called "Personal Development Deals" and offers rock anthems, synth-pop tracks, indie-western romance and melodic ballads "to encourage all freedom-loving and freedom-seeking people to dance". In the pavilion of At Pavillon everyone should dance, regardless of skin color, gender, age, sexual orientation or origin.
