The Swiss vocalist Andreas Schaerer, this year’s “artist in residence” at the Saalfelden Jazz Festival, is also presenting his latest band, whose “brand new album” will be released this year, according to his website. He shares a history with Finnish guitarist Kalle Kalima, also in the group "A Novel Of Anomaly". Highly promising, that American bassist Tim Lefebvre will complete this new trio. A Las Vegan by choice, who has played with David Bowie or the Tedeschi Trucks Band and is currently a member of pianist Michael Wollny's trio, Lefebvre is considered "one of the rare musical multilinguists" (Bass Musician) who plays as if he had "left virtuosity back in the playground" (The Guardian).
