A punk from Franconia who has spent half his life working in Berlin. A drum protégé who absorbed swing in the “Bavarian First Herd”, followed Richie Beirach's bebop call to New York and now lives out all of that and more in his unique Anarcho-Avantgarde. From “Ego Pills” to “Ego Kills”, Oli Steidle and this quasi-quartet twist exquisitely broken beats into rhythmic sculptures, into danceable irritations with an infectiously dystopian disaster drive. As catholic as one part of the band name may be, as blasphemous is the other. Note: “Killing” is also a synonym for something being disarmingly great.
