As early as 2008, the Japanese Koto virtuoso and the Norwegian guitarist played an intimate web concert from the studio of pianist Bugge Wesseltoft. Since then they have made their dreamy, ethereal worlds of sound also soar with the sampling support of Jan Bang or with the synth sounds of Dai Fujikura. At the Saalfelden Jazz Festival, they enrich their string sounds with their own electronics and the Japanese drummer Tamaya Honda, son of the pianist and the lead vocalist from the cult fusion band Native Son, who has also been heard with Peter Brötzmann and Masabumi Kikuchi.
