“Les Cadences Du Monde”

Louis Sclavis - clarinet
Bruno Ducret - cello
Jean Philippe Feys - cello
Keyvan Chemirani Zarb - percussions

The Ariadne thread that Louis Sclavis unwinds on his travels and musical adventures leads him quite naturally to write original melodies, nourished here and there by a sonic boldness and a timeless aesthetic that is well known to the public. His new album "Les Cadences Du Monde" is in some ways like a bubbling casket of pictorial music, but inspired by the photographic work "L'Usure Du Monde" by Frédéric Lecloux. This gave rise to eleven tracks that make our children's eyes light up again and our dreams reappear.

So it is no coincidence that the acoustic combination of clarinet, cello and percussion is honoured in a balancing act of very high intensity that draws us towards the sensitive and emotional side. The formula chosen by Louis Sclavis naturally comes into its own here, allowing great freedom in instrumental interpretation.
An album that cheers, shines and is very inspired at the same time.
