How much freedom does music need to unfold? The Saalfelden Jazzfestival has been inviting people to the breathtaking mountain world of the so-called Steinernes Meer for over 46 years, creating spaces for encounters, curiosity, creativity and exchange over four days in August.

For the past ten years, in addition to the major summer edition of the “Saalfelden Jazzfestival,” there has also been a small but fine Winter Edition, held in the heart of Salzburg’s Innergebirg region.
