This Dutch band has been on the go for thirty years now – you need to have a grasp of the wild style of "Anarchy-Punk-Rock-Jazz" to get a rough idea of their stylistic versatility. The path which the band has covered ranges from clearly defined Punk songs, to free improvisation. With their saxophonist Getatchew Mekuria, born in 1935 (!) the collective have for a few years now developed a mix of classic themes from their country Ethiopia, harsh rock riffs and crazy playful improvisations beyond the dogmatism and the notorious marketing delights of "Ideal World Music".
