In the three decades of Saalfelden Jazz Festival, Wolfgang Puschnig has appeared in many configurations. He has been given carte blanche for the anniversary. He has called his project "Room", and is seeking to develop a pleasant and homely room. The windows open up in the most varied stylistic directions, from which he has chosen his musicians, from vocalist Eric Mingus to Austro-Pop guitarist Hannes Wildner, all the way through to Rock percussionist Cathie Priemer. As a result Wolfgang Puschnig creates a special kind of house of cards.
